2. Get Ready for the Movie Night Sing Along

When: Saturday, May 13th (Movie begins at 8:00pm or sunset)

Where: Vernon Street Town Square

Description: Watch Hairspray (Rated PG) on a huge 30 foot screen & watch live performers emerge right before your eyes during all of the musical scenes! Dress up & play the part or sit back, relax and enjoy this evening of adult fun. With a beer garden, food and live entertainment - what more could you ask for?  Grab your lawn chair & a blanket and come enjoy a super fun night!

3. Free Fun-Filled Event: Get Energized! 

When: Saturday, May 13th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm 

Where: Roseville Utility Exploration Center
                1501 Pleasant Grove Boulevard, Roseville, CA

Description: Come on down to the exploration center to explore and play energy-fueled games that will fill you with excitement. Challenge your friends in a race to the finish line in your solar car! You can build your very own (only $10 for materials) or borrow one that we've already built. Discover how we interact with energy every day as you travel through the gauntlet of hands-on experiments in the Energy Olympics. BONUS: Learn some tips & tricks on how to keep cool this summer!

4. Enjoy a Concert on the Square

When: Saturday, May 20th at 6:30 pm 

Where: Vernon Street Town Square

Description: Grab a few friends & family, enjoy some food truck grub, visit the beer garden and enjoy the show! The featured artist is Thunder Cover and they'll be playing hits from a variety of genres including pop, rock, and R&B. The gate opens at 6:30 and the concert begins at 7:30 but get there early to claim a good spot. Admission is FREE!

5. Have a Night Out at the Maidu Museum & Historic Site

When: Saturday, May 20th 

Where: Maidu Museum & Historic Site
                1970 Johnson Ranch Drive, Roseville, CA 

Description: You'll have THREE super exciting options to choose from! 

OPTION 1: Maidu Eyes have Shown Me Opening Reception (6:30-8:30 pm) 
Featuring the photography of Kenneth Holbrook, the presentation will kick off at 7:00pm. We recommend you wear comfortable shoes for walking & jump on the petroglyph tour which begins at 8:00 pm. Light refreshments will be available!  
Pricing: $6 per person

OPTION 2: Rock Art Mysteries (8:00-9:00 pm)
Feel like your journeying back in time as you walk through the historic site observing petroglyphs on the lantern lit tour. Explore the mysterious symbols that are carved into the stone from thousands and thousands of years ago. Great for ALL ages! 

OPTION 3: Campfires (every 3rd Friday from 7:00-8:30 pm)
Head over to the outdoor amphitheater and gather around the campfire for some captivating Native American stories. Roast a marshmallow (or 2) & makes some special arts & crafts!
Pricing: $5/person or $16/family of four (under 2 yrs are free)
