Roseville loves Fat!

The Fat family that is! With four restaurants across the greater Sacramento region – the family patriarch, Frank Fat, opening his first location just a few blocks from the state's Capitol in 1939–the Fat's name has become synonymous with mouth-watering Asian-fusion food you will not soon forget.

Fat's Asia Bistro Roseville offers its patrons with lunch and dinner options spanning from traditional Chinese faire such as Kung Pao Shrimp and Mongolian Beef to customized dishes like its Thai Seafood in a Fat Pot to Japanese sushi favorites.

Having serving the region for more than 75 years, it should come as no surprise that Fat's was recognized in 2013 with the prestigious James Beard Foundation's America's Classics Award, given to restaurants that have timeless appeal and are beloved for quality food that reflects the character of their community. Fat's certainly has nailed those criteria!

While Fat's menu is respectably priced considering the flavoring and portions you receive in return, Fat's Asian Bistro Roseville also offers a "Fat Tuesdays" special, every Tuesday, with 10 for $10 lunch and dinner menus. Better yet, if you work in the area, you can get a Bento Box to-go, Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Fat's also has one of the area's most popular happy hours Monday through Friday 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

While Roseville has its share of traditional brunch offerings, if you're looking for something a bit more unique of an experience on Mother's Day or Easter, you have to get reservations for one of Fat's holiday champagne brunches. Menu items can vary, but chances are you'll be treated to hearty servings of Alaskan crab, a wide variety of dim sum and, of course, Fat's famous honey walnut prawns.
